Georgy Krushevsky: “Russian low-voltage equipment market is narrowing”

Public Joint-Stock Company “Electroizolit” regularly participates in leading exhibitions of the energy industry in Russia and CIS countries. At one of the past exhibitions, the Chief Technology Officer of “Electroizolit” plant, Georgy Krushevsky, share his own opinion on the current situation in the low-voltage equipment market with the “Rynok elektrotekhniki” magazine.

According to Georgy, demand for low-voltage equipment on the domestic market is growing, but the situation is that for Russian manufacturers it is narrowing due to the import of a huge amount of foreign manufacturers’ products at very affordable prices – both finished products and parts for assembly. All this constitutes serious competition for domestic manufacturers.

At the same time, Georgy emphasized: “There is a big number of Russian productions that have technical competence and necessary equipment that can satisfy any needs of a domestic manufacturer.”
